We are looking for someone passionate about progress. We’ve got lots of projects moving forward, both for ourselves and for our clients, and we are looking for a new team member who can stay on top of all those projects and move them from an initial brief to completion. The right person will enjoy using technology, be highly organized, detail oriented, have a professional etiquette, strong communication skills, and be comfortable working with a distributed (domestic and international, internal and external) team to get things done. The project coordinator will also serve as a content editor, so excellent writing and communication skills are essential. You’ll be one of the last lines of quality control for our deliverables, so while you will only occasionally speak directly with our clients, you will have a significant impact on how our clients perceive the work we produce. Other tasks may include responding to small support requests, research projects, occasional updates on websites (usually WordPress), and the ever popular “other duties as assigned”. While stated above, it is important to understand that we are a geographically dispersed team. This means the winning candidate will be one who both desires, and can be successful, working remotely. We found we lost too much time commuting so we dispensed with the office. This role will be better suited to a person who values a personal freedom more than water cooler conversations. We don’t mind you sneaking out to pick up the kids, a yoga class, or the occasional round of golf. What is important is that you provide consistently high-quality work and are generally available to engage, interact, and execute. You will need a high-speed and wired internet connection from a dedicated and quiet workspace. Compensation: $45,000 – 80,000/DOE
- Minimum 3-5 years coordinating and/or managing projects
