Bad Idea Bar – New logo
Those who have been to Burning Man likely already know the Bad Idea Bar. What started as a fun idea in 2010 has become a well known destination at ‘the burn’. The bar has been featured in everything from informal Burning Man travel guides to write-ups in national news papers.
With its grassroots growth, the bar proprietors decided it was time to formalize the bar’s identity. Context is king, so in this case we needed something to match the Black Rock City playa. We needed gritty. We needed dirty. We needed something that looked like it fit in Mad Max.
The bar proprietors were so happy with the logos that not only did they do a sign, but are also making the other logos into various limited edition stickers, some for bar first timers, and some for VIPs.
We’re happy to have helped develop an identity for cash free entity that exists only in the world of Burning Man; and we did so in true Burning Man spirit – pro bono!
