West Coast Pediatrics is proud to offer patient-centered and personalized services to patients from birth to 18 years of age.  They strive to meet family’s pediatric needs, provide convenient access to care, and build strong relationships with families to maximize child’s health.

The project

As West Coast Pediatrics was getting ready to move to its brand new location, they decided timing was ideal to launch a modernized and more user friendly website. Their decision was also in part due to a need to adapt to the changing insurance environment. Thus, their main goals were to refresh their overall brand presentation and reposition the practice to attract more new and private paying patients. As fish are a significant theme in their office, they asked for us to find a way to incorporate this child-friendly theme into the design.

We also recognized that it is the parents who make the decision on which doctors their children will visit, we focused on a parent friendly site that showed the office’s overall love for working with children.

While assessing the project, we also noticed that their then current web address was not search engine friendly, so we took the opportunity to identify something that was consistent with their name and practice and also would be responsive to web crawlers and search engines. They asked us to go a step further with the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) so we incorporated a host of metadata and generated a site map that was much more conducive to appearing in search results.
