For the past 25 years, Shah Khan has honed his professional skill set while working at various for-profit and non-profit organizations including The Frost Museum of Science, Miami Children’s Museum, Alchemical Courtyard and Morph Medical.
While he acknowledges this as the beginning of the development of his professional expertise, Shah credits his strong work ethic and job versatility to the many start-up ventures he has helped create from the ground up.
Through this valuable, hands-on experience he developed the ability to learn the functionality of multiple business departments and organizational processes from customer service to project management.
Through acquisition of his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Shah learned how to maximize efficiencies, while eliminating waste – a valuable resource for any company, especially one with the breadth of services that the Kompani Group provides.
Shah holds a degree in Finance and a master’s degree in Healthcare Management from Florida International University. He met his wife, Vidya Maharaj, while working together at a non-profit in Miami. Together, they raise their daughter Saheli.
Kompani Group accepted the challenge of developing a new website and marketing tools, including a total rebranding and image update from the logo up, for our trade association. The task was made more difficult as we needed to transpose old and evolving information from our old systems to the new. Our database was out of date and resided on a cumbersome platform; all of our communication tools were also outdated and required renovation, or replacement - our social media presence was next to zero.
Adam Olen and his team went to work and then went the extra mile. With Adam’s leadership, we soon had a striking new website, a social media presence and an array of marketing tools for our many events and training services. We are now serving our members better and attracting new prospects for both training and membership.
